If you’ve stayed this long (thanks!) you may be wondering, who is this Ronnie Soo anyway?
So here’s a brief resumé…
I’m in my 40s although my mind still thinks I’m 25
, and I hail from Liverpool in the UK. My interests include photography, especially those sweeping landscapes (the work of Ansel Adams still stuns me to this day), seeing my favourite rock bands live in concert and often travelling to other countries to see them with good friends from Europe, sports, and I love classic television from the 1960s. In particular the programme ‘The Prisoner’ has led directly to my meeting some great friends and getting the chance to stay in the Welsh village of Portmeirion, where that programme was filmed.
My background is in IT support; for most of the last two decades I have worked in the computer industry, starting off as a mainframe operator (which involved mounting a lot of those old tapes you sometimes see in 1970s films!) before eventually moving into the communications side and from there into PC and local area networking. During this time I learned a lot about switches, routers, TCP/IP and all the good stuff which powers the Internet we all use today. I then changed jobs; still working within the IT industry I took another role which I felt would help me advance my knowledge and develop my skills. For the early part of the 2000s that was the case; working alongside good guys (and girls!) and earning a decent living, life was good. Things started to change around the middle of the decade; our department was ‘outsourced’ to an external company, and the previously good camaraderie which I had enjoyed began to dissipate as people either left, or were moved into different departments. Meanwhile we endured a succession of ever-changing ‘team leaders’ who knew nothing about us, and a management who only ever seemed to appear when they had bad news to bring us.
The end finally came for me in May 2009; when the announcement came that our department were cutting staff by 33% I had been expecting it for some time, despite the repeated denials. By this time I had started to look around for other avenues to explore; with the advent of the Web it became clear to me that here was a wonderful opportunity to improve one’s lifestyle drastically. This was brought home to me when a friend of mine, one I only knew previously through a shared interest in music, suddenly was catapulted into a world of success and wealth which even surprised herself. Needless to say I had to contact her to find out more, and here I am now mixing with successful entrepreneurs from all over the world. Only last November (2009) I was fortunate enough to attend a very exciting and informative conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. The speakers were extremely enlightening, and the entire experience for me, was life-changing. I’d never set foot in America before in my life, let alone Las Vegas, so this was quite an introduction!
You can see a video clip here which gives very brief highlights of the event; look out for yours truly at 2:05 (very brief!)
Following that I have seen just what is possible, I was lucky to meet up with many people from all over the world who attended the conference, normal people just like you and I, who have all achieved success thanks to the remarkable opportunity presented to them with this business. No matter where you’re from, you too can be a part of this success. Simply enter your name and email address in the fields provided and come and join us ‘on the inside’!
