If you’ve seen the ‘Photography’ section you’ll know that this is one of my biggest passions. I’ll be putting up a picture on here frequently; they may be relevant to my post or it may just be something I particularly liked. This one is the latter; the photo was taken a couple of years ago in Elterwater, in the Lake District. I love autumn time and trying to capture the colours, but the weather does not always co-operate in England (!)

The other thing I wanted to mention is that this was taken on a conventional camera; if you are on a bit of a budget for equipment but want to use more interesting things such as extreme wide-angle lenses, why not look on eBay or in the classifieds? You’ll find plenty of people who have ‘gone digital’ and are trying to sell their old film camera equipment, there may be a bargain out there to be had!
You can of course, have your film developed and the pictures put onto a CD nowadays; that’s what I did here and so you can still upload to the web. Worth considering if you want to broaden your photographic horizons but put off by the cost of new digital gear.
Another picture soon!
