One thing I really have a passion for is photography. I have been a keen amateur photographer since I was a teenager and even today, I still love trying to get THAT shot which stands out.  Despite taking countless pictures since the day I first got myself an Olympus OM-10 SLR (I've updated since then!), there are only a handful of photos I have taken which I still look at today and think 'yeah, that was a good one'.  Equally, I love seeing how differently other people view the same places I see. That is the fascination of photography, each individual has a different perspective on the same thing. I will use this site to share photos of mine; be they recent or from the dim and distant past. I hope you will enjoy these pictures, and to get things started, here is a photograph I took back in 1987 at Liverpool's Albert Dock.  It was one autumn afternoon, with the sun starting to set and I just liked the light.  Hopefully you'll like it; if not, there will be plenty more to come.
