Today I thought I’d share an aerial photograph of one of my favourite places, Portmeirion in North Wales.

In 2008 myself and some friends took a pleasure flight from nearby Caernarvon airfield, during which time we took in the sights of North Wales from the air. We were staying in Portmeirion at the time, and so we were very happy to get the opportunity to view the village from the air, something we would not otherwise be able to do. This is one of my pictures from that flight, it’s been considerably brightened up from its original state (you try taking pictures through the window of an old Piper PA-34 Seneca!)

Portmeirion is a place I love to visit and I’m fortunate to get the chance to stay there from time to time. Whatever your favourite places are, you should set your goals so that you can get the opportunity to see them more often.
